Headline

Always use the neutral colors to render headlines as these colors allow the logo to stand out in our layouts and do not compete with selected photography

Dividers

Always use neutral colors for the dividers, to offset their weight in the layout.

Background

Make sure the background color is unobtrusive, by using white or another light color.

Graphic devices

Graphic devices can provide an anchor for typography. Notice how the orange accent color matches the tone of the photograph.

Photography

When searching for photography, take care to select subjects and/or backgrounds with colors that complement or match those of our color palette, especially colors being used prominently in the layout. In this brochure, the warm tones of the photograph pick up the orange in the graphic elements.

Don’ts

color-dont1

Dividers

DON’T use primary colors to render the dividers as they become too obtrusive.

Headlines

DON’T use the secondary colors for headlines, because they will become difficult to read.

Graphic devices

DON’T use multiple colors to render graphic devices.

Typography

DON’T use neutral colors to render typography. These colors do not provide enough contrast for text.
