The visual system includes icons that can call attention to important content or communicate an added message. The icons vary in subject but are unified by style and scale.
When creating new icons, maintain the style shown here —simple forms constructed with consistent outline weights with a line break.
Create all icons as outlines, not solid fill shapes.
Create a spot where the icon is not completely connected. Make sure all the ends are rounded, not sharp.
Use a heavy line weight to create the outside of the shape. When an icon contains more than one stroke, use a line weight that is half its thickness as the lighter weight.
